Supporting the PSA’s Barrier approach a BowTie seminar was organized for approximately 30 people. As part of the need the PSA sees for a better understanding by operators of the interaction between organizational, operational and technical elements in barriers the main objective was to get a good knowledge of BowTie in relation to Barrier Management.
Complete re-development of the Major Accident Risk BowTies for the GOM Wells Organisation. Important objective is to transfer knowledge and use learning’s from other BowTie users in the Oil & Gas (Operator’s and Drilling Contractors) and incorporate the latest views on the BowTie Method to realize high quality Well Control BowTies for drilling, completion, intervention and production. Also included were the regulatory views on Barrier Management and Barrier Performance from the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority and the UK HSE.

Business Development and development of specific content for the Wells Assessment for Integrity Tool of Stuart Wright based in Singapore. WAiT is an innovative concept to assess Integrity of the Well Barriers presented in a comprehensive ‘Single View’ (WAiT©) capture of factual Well Condition integrating subsurface environment to construction and production history. Including a visual presentation of the condition of the primary & secondary barrier envelopes using NORSOK-D010 as reference and illustrated by using BowTies.
